Estrus is Tove Lo’s sixth album and her first in four years. Releasing through Pretty Swede Records gives her more responsibility for initiating and steering the work.
How it was made
Much of the writing happened in Sweden with longtime collaborator Ludvig Söderberg. The project explores control and vulnerability rather than trying to resolve every feeling; Stromae is among the collaborators discussed.
The flip side
