The heist setup
After Santa's magic bag is stolen, he turns to Vance, a thief drawn from the naughty list. Santa, Vance, Vance's daughter and a crew of misfits then have to retrieve it before Christmas is lost.
Who is making it
Adam Shankman directs from a screenplay by Allan Rice. Schwarzenegger and Ritchson lead the cast, with Awkwafina, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney and Ken Jeong among the supporting players.
When it arrives
Prime Video will stream the film on December 2. The teaser turns the project from a set-photo curiosity into a dated release, and it marks Schwarzenegger's first major Christmas-movie lead since Jingle All the Way.
