What the crossover is
The exhibition pairs Studio Ghibli imagery with Zen themes, centering heavily on The Boy and the Heron. Limited goshuin papers add Ghibli artwork to the stamped certificates visitors can receive at three participating Kyoto temples.
How to get them
The special papers come through eligible JR Central EX travel packages linked to the museum ticket. Temple admission and the individual goshuin stamping fees are separate, so a standard museum ticket alone is not enough.
The flip side
The package is travel-and-admission merchandise, not a new Studio Ghibli film or permanent temple program. The exhibition runs October 3 through December 6; availability and package pricing can change or sell out.
