Promiflash revisits Milla Jovovich’s enthusiasm for returning as Alice after six Resident Evil films. Her older comments establish personal interest, while the current reboot’s different continuity and lack of an announced sequel leave a comeback hypothetical.

What she actually said

Jovovich described Resident Evil as a major part of her career and said she would love to be involved again. The report traces that position to a 2020 ScreenRant interview rather than a new casting announcement.

Why the distinction matters

Paul W. S. Anderson’s Alice-led series concluded in 2017. Zach Cregger’s newer adaptation follows a different, game-focused direction, and no sequel or Alice appearance has been confirmed. Desire is not the same as a signed role.

Update note: Separates an actor's stated interest and an older interview from an actual casting or sequel announcement.
