Kim Eun-sook is the first screenwriter and fourth individual to receive the Golden Bird Prize, after Choi Min-sik, Park Chan-wook and Ben Stiller. The honor recognizes the contribution and global reach of her television writing, including The Glory and Guardian.

The major Korean winners
